Play Therapy is mostly one to one therapeutic non-directive sessions that work on play as an expression of the child's feelings, working with what comes naturally to them, play.
Within the space, the Play Therapist will provide a non-judgemental and safe environment conducive to effective Play Therapy.
Sessions incorporate a range of creative materials namely:
*Clay
*Paints
*Music
*Puppets
*Sand & mini figures
*Role play & dressing up
Evidence produced by PTUk suggests that 74 - 83% of children who were referred for Play Therapy improve as a result of the intervention.
